LOEI, THAILAND — On November 5, 2026, the Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA Thailand) conducted an official pilot site visit to Ratchaprachanukroh 52 (RPG 52) School in Wang Saphung District, Loei Province, to lay the groundwork for an upcoming collaborative volunteer project.
The exploratory mission was led by Mr. Laksana Rodtrakul, National Coordinator of VSA Thailand, who met with school leadership, administrators, and faculty members to evaluate community needs, assess school facilities, and discuss strategic directions for incoming international and local voluntary service initiatives.
Ratchaprachanukroh 52 School is slated to become one of VSA Thailand’s newest host project sites in the northeastern (Isan) region. Planned cooperation will emphasize English language communication, creative workshops, non-formal educational activities, and cross-cultural exchanges tailored to support the students and surrounding community.
During the assessment, Mr. Rodtrakul conducted a comprehensive review of the campus environment, including activity spaces, safety protocols, and accommodation arrangements to ensure the school aligns with VSA Thailand’s hosting standards. Discussions with the school administration focused on structuring sustainable volunteer placements that foster global learning opportunities while respecting and celebrating local community life.
The visit marks another key milestone in VSA Thailand’s mission to connect international volunteer networks with grassroots educational institutions across the country. Further details regarding project timelines, program activities, and volunteer recruitment are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
