It's always been fascinating to me how vast our world is.
I remember always imagining that at the same time, millions of people around the world are doing different things: some are getting ready for bed, some are having dinner, and some are just greeting a new day... This always amazed me.
That's why when I knew about the volunteer project in Thailand, I realized that this was my chance to experience another culture, meet new people and make some contribution to making this world a little better.
I spent two weeks at Patongwittaya Muniti Foundation School in Songkhla province. The students were very open, friendly and kind. We practiced English with them, learned new things about each other's cultures and had fun together.
The teachers were also very kind, always ready to help and open to cooperation. I loved the atmosphere at school; thanks to the teachers, I felt like I belonged to something bigger than just volunteering. It was a family where it didn't matter where you were from—Russia, Japan, or Thailand.
I'd also like to mention our host family, who brightened our days. They were always very kind to us, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. And the food was always delicious!
Overall, these were two unforgettable weeks that gave me new experiences, a new perspective on the world and new friends. I hope I can do something similar again in the near future.
Thank you!
See you again!
