SONGKHLA — 4th June 2026 the Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA Thailand), led by its Executive Committee (VSA EC)—including Mr. Laksana Rodtrakul, Ms. Jarinya Krittikan, and Ms. Diyaporn Wisamitanan—warmly welcomed Dr. Jinsu Yom, President of Better World from South Korea, which serves as the Sending Organization. The official visit to Thailand aimed to finalize preparations for an upcoming long-term international volunteer exchange program.
This significant visit took place under the project "International cooperation for solidarity within the framework of a volunteering service." This project is part of VSA Thailand’s global cooperation network focusing on youth development and collaborative sustainability, which expands on the strategic cooperation framework between Better World Korea, VSA Thailand, and SNJ Luxembourg.
For this project, VSA Thailand has partnered with the International College at Thaksin University (TSUIC) as the local hosting partner to help support and serve as the operating site for the volunteers. During the discussions, the delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Pittayatorn Kaewkong, Dean of the International College, along with Mr. Abdunfatah Masamae, Vice Dean.
The primary goal of this joint meeting was to ensure comprehensive readiness to welcome the program's very first volunteer from Luxembourg, who is scheduled to arrive and begin their placement at TSU International College this coming November. VSA Thailand and Better World Korea collaboratively reviewed logistical readiness, cultural adaptation plans, and the volunteer's scope of work to ensure a flexible and sustainable long-term placement.
VSA Thailand expressed strong confidence that the capabilities of the TSU International College as a local partner will successfully drive this project forward. Welcoming European volunteers will not only bring global perspectives to local youth and the community but also marks a milestone in strengthening international relations and opening doors for future international volunteer exchanges.
สงขลา — 4 มิถุนายน 569 สมาคมจิตอาสา (VSA Thailand) นำโดยคณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคม (VSA EC) ได้แก่ คุณลักษณะ รอดตระกูล, คุณจริญญา กฤติกานต์ และคุณดิญะพร วิสะมิตนันท์ ร่วมกันให้การต้อนรับ Dr.Jinsu Yom ประธานองค์กร Better World Korea จากประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ในฐานะองค์กรผู้ส่งอาสาสมัคร (Sending Organization) ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมขั้นสุดท้ายสำหรับโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนอาสาสมัครระหว่างประเทศระยะยาว
การเยือนครั้งสำคัญนี้อยู่ภายใต้โครงการ "International cooperation for solidarity within the framework of a volunteering service" ซึ่งเป็นเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับสากลของ VSA Thailand ที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาเยาวชนและการทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อความยั่งยืน โดยขยายผลมาจากกรอบความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่าง Better World เกาหลีใต้, VSA ประเทศไทย และ SNJ ลักเซมเบิร์ก
สำหรับโครงการนี้ VSA Thailand ได้ร่วมมือกับวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ในฐานะภาคีเครือข่ายประเทศไทย ที่จะมาช่วยดูแลและเป็นพื้นที่ปฏิบัติงานของอาสาสมัคร โดยในการหารือครั้งนี้ คณะผู้แทนได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจาก ดร. พิทยาธร แก้วคง คณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์อับดุลฟาตะห์ มะสาแม รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ
เป้าหมายหลักของการประชุมร่วมกันในครั้งนี้ คือการเตรียมความพร้อมรอบด้านเพื่อต้อนรับอาสาสมัครคนแรกจากประเทศลักเซมเบิร์ก ซึ่งมีกำหนดการเดินทางมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ณ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายนที่จะถึงนี้ โดย VSA Thailand และ Better World Korea ได้ร่วมกันพิจารณาความพร้อมด้านโลจิสติกส์ แผนการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรม และขอบเขตงานของอาสาสมัคร เพื่อรองรับการพำนักระยะยาว (Long-term placement) ที่ยืดหยุ่นและยั่งยืน
VSA Thailand มั่นใจว่าศักยภาพของวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ จะช่วยขับเคลื่อนให้โครงการนี้ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างดี การเปิดรับอาสาสมัครชาวยุโรปในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่จะสร้างมุมมองระดับสากล (Global Perspective) ให้กับเยาวชนและชุมชนในพื้นที่ และยังถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และเปิดประตูสู่การแลกเปลี่ยนอาสาสมัครในระดับนานาชาติต่อไปในอนาคต
