VOLUNTEER SERVICE 

INTRODUCTION 

Hi! My name is Loreen, I’m 18 years old, and I decided to spend one year abroad in Thailand as a volunteer English teacher. I’m currently teaching English to children at a local school, helping them to improve their language skills in a fun and creative way. Starting this new chapter has been both exciting and challenging, but I’m truly enjoying every moment of it. 

PLACE 

My project is located in Khon Kaen, at RPG50 School. It’s quite a large school that teaches students from Primary to High School, but I mainly teach in the Primary section. The school area is beautiful and spacious, surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere is always lively. The students, teachers, and everyone here are incredibly kind, cheerful, and helpful, which makes me feel very welcome and comfortable. 

EXPERIENCE 

During my first month, I’ve already met so many amazing new people and started to build great friendships. Every day brings something new to learn and explore. I’m really grateful for this opportunity and excited for the adventures that lie ahead in my volunteer year abroad!
