Subject: Appointment of the Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA Thailand) Executive Committee for the 2026-2027 Term

Following the Annual General Assembly held on October 17, 2025, the Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA Thailand) is pleased to formally announce the appointment of the new Executive Committee for the 2026-2027 term.

The President of VSA Thailand warmly welcomed Annamaria, an Accounting professional from Development Perspectives, Ireland, under the PreLab project funded by MSCA, European Commission. 17th September to 20th of November 2025

ICL camp 8–20 September 2025 at Songkhla wrapped up with great success! Our volunteer tutor, Itzel,  from Mexico was unstoppable. She shined in every task and inspired everyone around her. 🌟 Nothing could hold her back! 💪✨ 

VSA Thailand Director, Jarinya Krittikan, was a speaker at the webinar “Rethinking Gender (In)Equality in Global Volunteering” held on 5 September 2025. The event was organized by the CCIVS Youth Committee and the ICYE Youth Engagement Committee, in alignment with EU Youth Goal #2: Equality of All Genders. 

10-19 August 2025 Songkhla, Thailand 

Professors and medical students from the Health & Wellness Community Study Visit Camp joined the celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day at the Consulate in Songkhla on 17 August 2025. The event fostered international friendship, educational cooperation, and cultural exchange. 

On 17 July 2025, VSA successfully participated in the “Achieve More with Gemini” webinar hosted by Infoxchange and TechSoup APAC. The session, titled “How to Train Gems & leverage Canvas to Support Lean Teams,” offered practical AI tools for nonprofits to fill skill gaps and streamline operations.

VSA President Laksana Rodtrakul joined the “Sustainable Tourism Excellence Program” Seminar on 15–16 July 2025 in Songkhla.

Hatyai Thailand, 7 July 2025 Mr. Laksana Rodtrakul of VSA Thailand joined in welcoming 60 Malaysian guests for an educational visit, supporting cross-cultural exchange and ASEAN cooperation. 

Phayao Thailand, 7 July 2025 VSA Thailand organized a fun, one-day English camp with interactive games and songs to boost students’ language skills and global connections 

On 2 July 2026, international volunteers from Cardiff (UK) and Germany, in partnership with VSA Thailand, led a lively English Camp at Phusangwittayakhom School, Phayao. Local students joined creative activities, games, and cultural exchange that made language learning fun and meaningful.

On 29 June 2025, VSA Thailand organized a Multicultural Language Camp at RPK 24 School, Phayao, Thailand Volunteers from Cardiff University (UK), Germany, and the University of Phayao led interactive English and Chinese sessions, fostering language learning and cross-cultural friendship among local students.

On 17 June 2025, VSA Thailand and Wachiralai School (Chiang Mai) signed an MOU to strengthen international volunteer exchange and language learning. The partnership supports both incoming global volunteers and opportunities for Thai students to volunteer abroad—promoting global citizenship and intercultural education. 

On 15 June 2025, Ms. Laksana Rodtrakul, President of VSA, was warmly welcomed by the leadership team of Mae Hong Son College to discuss a new partnership launching next semester. The meeting focused on building a strong framework for future collaboration in international education and volunteer engagement.
