Better World Korea and VSA Thailand Join Forces to Bring New Project to School for Underprivileged Children in Thailand 

CHIANG MAI, THAILAND — Better World Korea and Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA) Thailand have joined forces to launch an educational infrastructure and intercultural project at Rajaprajanugroh 60 (RPG 60) School in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai.

Under this joint partnership, Better World Korea secured project funding from leading South Korean financial sector firms. VSA Thailand serves as the on-ground implementation partner, directing these funds directly into the school to upgrade facilities and deliver interactive cultural exchange activities for the students.

Preparation course (September 21–24)

Renovation work on campus is already underway, while team leaders completed key site and logistical preparations from November 21 to 24 ahead of the main student activities scheduled for November:

RPG 60 School provides free boarding, care, and education to hundreds of underprivileged children and ethnic minority students from remote mountainous communities. By pairing Korean corporate investment with VSA Thailand's local operational capability, the partnership delivers vital physical repairs alongside global learning experiences for the children.

เชียงใหม่, ประเทศไทย — Better World Korea และ สมาคมจิตอาสา (VSA Thailand) เดินหน้าจับมือผลักดันโครงการเพื่อสังคมและพัฒนาการศึกษา มุ่งเน้นการปรับปรุงอาคารสถานที่ พร้อมจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรมให้กับนักเรียน ณ โรงเรียนราชประชานุเคราะห์ 60 จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

ในความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ Better World Korea ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณโครงการจากบริษัทและองค์กรภาคการเงินชั้นนำของประเทศเกาหลีใต้ โดยมี VSA Thailand เป็นภาคีเครือข่ายหลักในประเทศไทยในการนำเงินทุนดังกล่าวเข้าสู่โรงเรียนโดยตรง เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ของน้องๆ

ขณะนี้ งานปรับปรุงและซ่อมแซมอาคารสถานที่ภายในโรงเรียนได้เริ่มดำเนินการแล้ว โดยทีมงานได้ลงพื้นที่จัดการและเตรียมความพร้อมด้านประสานงานก่อนเริ่มกิจกรรมหลักกับเด็กๆ ในเดือนพฤศจิกายนนี้:

• การซ่อมแซมและปรับปรุงอาคารเรียน

• การบริหารจัดการอาสาสมัครและทีมงาน

• การลงพื้นที่และวางแผนกิจกรรม

• การจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมไทย-เกาหลี

โรงเรียนราชประชานุเคราะห์ 60 เป็นสถานศึกษาที่ดูแลและให้การศึกษากับเด็กด้อยโอกาส รวมถึงกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในพื้นที่ห่างไกล การผสานความร่วมมือระหว่างเงินทุนภาคการเงินเกาหลีใต้จาก Better World Korea และการดำเนินงานในพื้นที่ของ VSA Thailand ไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อมในโรงเรียนให้ปลอดภัยและน่าเรียนยิ่งขึ้น แต่ยังช่วยเปิดโลกทัศน์สร้างแรงบันดาลใจใหม่ๆ ผ่านกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมสากลในครั้งนี้อีกด้วย
