My 1st month 

My project I volunteer at the Rajaprajanugroh School 50, a public school under royal patronage. The boarding school is located in the Ban Haet District of Khon Kaen, in Northeastern Thailand. They teach around 800 students from primary to secondary.

About myself

 
Hello! My name is Nele. I am 18 years old and from Germany. I am currently spending a year abroad in Thailand. I participate in the VSA Volunteer Program, which runs from August 2025 to August 2026. There I work as a volunteer at a school and teach English. 

I teach mostly in the 7th and 8th grades (in Thai: mathayom 1 and 2). I really enjoy teaching and I like to come up with interactive and fun lessons so that students can learn English in a playful way. I like it here very much. Everyone here is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. When I don't have classes, I prefer to sit in the school cafe or help out in the kitchen. In the afternoon we can participate in activities such as a board game club, cleaning up the school or helping out in the cafe or the school shop
