Grilled oysters with green onion. Vietnamese call it "hau nuong mo hanh". This is a famous dish of Vietnamese cuisin.
Oyster meat is delicious and nutritious, containing protein, glucide, fat, zinc, magnesium, calcium and good for your health. They can be cooked into different dishes including oysters porridge, hotpot, fried, etc. However, grilled oysters with green onion is the most tasty dish which retains almost its sweet taste. Cooking the griled oysters is quite simple and anyone is able to do it. Good news is cooking it with a gas grill, grill pan, oven, or even in the air fryer will not disappoint you because I cooked it with an air fryer.
Ingredients: oysters, onion, green onion, roasted peanuts and cooking oil.
After being purchased, oysters are washed off the dirt and then you use a sharp knife or an oysters knife to split their shell out. Next, you chop green onion and slice onion. Then heating cooking oil in pan and stir fry onion until onion changes colour and place them on a dish. Similar, you put mince green onion in pan and stir fry them about 1-2 minutes. Next step, you put oysters into the air fryer about 5-10 minutes (depending on size of the oysters) with 180 degree. When it cooked, you serve immediately with speading grease onion, green onion and roasted peanuts. And it's more delicious when it's hot.
Note: -You should choose fresh oysters. It is better to buy the oysters newly catching from the stone. Died oysters or chilled does not taste good.
