Introduction

Volunteer Spirit Association (VSA) is an International Voluntary Service organization in Thailand. Exchanging volunteer and people who interesting in VSA activities, implementing Non-Formal Education through International workcamp and project, training and related capacity building and social issue activities.

VSA is working in International Voluntary Service network which will be related to Sending organization and Hosting Organization

 

Sending Organization is the local organization situate at volunteer country, work on sending and preparing volunteers before participating in the activities abroad until they finished activities

 

Hosting organization is the receiving volunteer organization, implementing activities for volunteer and community, responsibility of volunteer during activities and community impact.

This Privacy Policy explains:

·       What information VSA collects from you (and why we collect it),

·       How we use and share that information,

·       The choices you have, including how to access, update and delete your information.

VSA committed the transparency and faithfulness of all process using and storing your information.

What information do we collect?

VSA directly collect your personal data through our online application on our website, VSA paypal system including from sending organization

The personal data includes:

All information we collect is the information need for implementing activities. And you sign in the permission document allow VSA use your information.

How do we use this information, and what is the legal basis for this use?

All personal information will be used only in International Voluntary Service (IVS) Network and Social purpose activities including purpose of Sustainable Development Goal activities. VSA does not give, sell or rent your information out of purposes.

Volunteers-incoming and outgoing

Using between sending and hosting organization to identify application  and all process from applying until finish activity

Host family

Using to confirm and secure that you have legal status in Thailand and allow VSA to send approved participants staying in your places.

Members

Using to indicated that you are intend and agree in VSA working passion and would like to support VSA.

In case of third person out of the IVS network asking for your information. We need to receive your permission before giving to the third person out of IVS network with providing you enough purposes of reason of using your personal information before making decision.

Your information in other website that cause from VSA action e.g. transferring fee (Paypal, bank transferring etc.) will be under those website policy

How long will VSA retain your data?

In general, VSA will retain your personal data as long as it is needed for the respective purpose of data processing and applicable law then, thereafter, to comply with any applicable recordkeeping provisions. Personal data may also be contained in backup files which we keep for information security purposes and regularly delete when the backup period is over.

Where we process personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we process the data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to allow us to implement your requests). We also keep a record of the fact that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your data so that we can respect your request in future.
