MLTV1302 Environment/ZOO Project-Songkhla

Background

Songkhla zoo is the biggest zoo in southern located on the Khao Rub Chang hill, Songkhla. This is open zoo where visitor can come to see animals, play in water park, camping, seminar, etc.

Working

Volunteers are expected to work in the zoo to helping the staffs daily task such feed animals, cleaning teaching, help in water park and special work with the Research part such join them for Fishing cats research and conservation project ,Survey a new kind of plants, Animals, Macrobiotics, etc. This work you need to go to the forest for collect a data. So some time you have to go to the forest during day and sometime in the night.

Accommodation Volunteers stay with host family.

Food Volunteer have meals with host family for breakfast and supper. Having lunch with zoo staff.

Extra Fee 14,000 Bath per month for 1st months (including project preparation and orientation week) and 12,000 Bath for 2nd, 3rd month after 4th months is 10,000 Bath per month.

Special Remark No smoking in the zoo.
